Window frosting is an adhesive window film, which can be applied to any smooth glass surface. Common uses are on windows where privacy is required while maintaining natural light to the room.

Avery Dennison Etchmark, which is a 50 micron acid etched effect cast frosted film, with a 7-year lifespan. Etchmark offers a faster, trouble-free application of glass displays. When using Avery Dennison Etchmark, graphics can be created with a smooth consistent finish, whether computer-cut or total-coverage is required.

Metamark Crystal Etch offers a faster, trouble-free application of glass displays whilst allowing the installer to still use the wet application method. Frosted glass window graphics with a smooth consistent finish can be produced whether computer-cut or total-coverage is required. Metamark Crystal Etch is a 70 micron polymeric calendered frosted film, with a 7-year lifespan and allows 57% of light transmission.

Ideal for glass partitioned offices, foyers, banks, real estate agents, cafes, conference rooms, restaurants and shopfront windows.

Can you see through Frosted Glass?

Frosted film allows for up to 90% of the natural light to come through, however it is not opaque so you cannot see through it. We can provide cut-outs in the design for you to look through.

No, we can provide frosting for one window or an entire office floor of windows.

Yes, we recommend using an earth friendly household cleaner to spray and wipe as you would in any normal glass cleaning.
